Installing Windows from an empty HDD

So,I had nothing do and I tried to give life for a old laptop during lockdown.I need to install an os on it (probably Windows 7 or xp cuz it old).

But I have only 2 empty HDDs and no USB or DVDs whatsoever.

 

So can anyone tell me how to use one of my HDD(3.5) as a bootable drive to install Windows on the other Hard drive(2.5 Laptop one)

Can you use a program like rufus to make the hdd have the windows iso?

 

Or just boot the other system through the network, might be a bit of setup though.

Yes i could.but windows 10 might be too much.any alternatives? Right now I have only win xp iso and androidx86.

 

What did U meant by through the network? LAN?
