Will a 550 watt power supply handle a RTX 2060 for a few week before a 600 watt power supply come?

NicholasOng0402

it will handle it for years. you could run that setup on decent 400w psu

RTX2060 consumes 195W peak. What in your computer is going to consume the remaining 355W continuously?

And if 600W one is like this then that's a "no" for it too. What PSUs you're talking about ?

Depends on the 550W.

If it's something like this:  https://www.newegg.com/epower-ep-550-td1-550w/p/N82E16817101038

Then the answer is "no".  :D

Huh. That's interesting.

I don't think I've ever seen a power supply with a 6pin connector on the rear of the PSU for a USB charger. Strange.

I wonder if anyone ever tried plugging in a USB storage drive and wondered why it wasn't being detected by the computer 😂

It would run ? Perhaps. It is recommended ? No.

What's the new 600W one then ?

Also, quite the person you're answering to or ping then, otherwise they wouldn't see your reply.
