I just recently built my compter. Nothing is overclocked, kept everything stock with a stock wraith air cooler. I recently played a game and the MSI afterburner showed my cpu temp at almost 100 degrees!  I looked at cpuid moniter and it showed it at 95 degrees.  Looking at the pic i uploaded, i'm getting different temps from the three monitors i have; MSI afterburner, cpuid moniter, and ryzen master. What program is the best to look at when it comes to temps for my cpu?

Ryzen Master and HWiNFO are the only accurate tools for Zen.

Also make sure you've updated your BIOS, installed the latest chipset drivers, are not overclocking/overvolting and the cooler is mounted well.

Definitley some good advice, you could also check which profile is loaded in the bios, and if your motherboard has AI tools, maybe they could be causing the misshap.

The BIOS came already updated being the board was built 4/20/2020.  All the latest drivers are all updated and have not touched any overclocking whatsoever.  My next step is to add an aio cooler.

AIO is not needed. Make sure the cooler is mounted well and that the BIOS isn't set to PBO enabled or what-have-you

You could try it in the OC section above M-Bios. Haven't owned a MSI board personally. I'm familiar with the Asus ones.
