Ram wont overclock ?

SO I FIXED IT! I had one bad stick of ram and it should be covered under warranty and as soon as it was removed it showed 24 gb of ram and let me go to 3200 mhz which i was never able to do before

I just got a ASROCK TAICHI X370 motherboard and for some reason if enable xmp or touch the ram at all 

it refuses to over clock my cpu or does a triple boot loop and resets... 

 

Also in windows its only giving me 16 out 32 gb usable ... 

 

The system i was using this hardware in earlier today worked fine 2800 stable over clock on the ram ... 

 

any ideas ?

Has manually clocking not worked? Are you also adjusting DRAM voltage.

Reinstall the sticks to get 32gb back first

it seems like the problems are one in the same .. its detecting all the sticks of ram ... and i think that might be what is causinmg the issue .. will try reseating the ram and see what it does
