little bit overkill maybe

i just got a dark rock pro 4 and i have an ryzen 3 3200g was this a bit too much because i am able to turn all my fans off and idle at 40c was this worth it or not

it was overkill but that is very good cooler. 

When you upgrade you wont have to upgrade the cpu cooler since it one of the best air coolers and it beats 120,140mm aios and some 240mm aios in terms of cooling

i mean i have a 65w tdp chip and the cooler has an max tdp of 250w

if you plan to upgrade your cpu, it's fine. just for a 3200g is way overkill. how did you decide to get it?

idk i saw it i i thougt it was good and i bought it it is kinda really big

with the money you spent on the cooler, you could have bought a much better cpu. you spent more on the cooler than on the cpu, how does that make sense?

i didend my cpu was 93 eur and my cooler 78 eur and i dont have an gpu
