Cpu OC with multiplier

I own an a8 7680, i know it is a locked cpu, but i read that by increasing from 100mhz to 105mhz the base multiplier frequency i could kind of overclock it. The bios showed that the CPU would have 3,7GHz base clock and 4GHz at turbo. The problem is that the CPU is still having 3,5 as base and 3,7 turbo. any solution?

Is it 3.5 base / 3.7 turbo after you changed your multiplier frequency?

Base clock is base clock, not multiplier.

 

You mean it's running lower still? Does CPU-Z show increased base clock?
