The Dell Dimension Sleeper

NTDaws

Hello old friends,

This will be my progress page of my Dell Dimension 2400 Sleeper

It's gonna be quite a easy sleeper to work on, only things I have left to do is install front panel USB 3.0 and patch up the headphone jack.

The PC is painted in a Matte Black for the body and a Antique Grey for the front for a refreshing look.

I removed all the old hardware, put the case in a dishwasher and removed all the labels. With only leaving the dell logo on the front of the case.

Here is the beginning of the project. And I will be updating it every time I make a change.

The specs will be are as follows:

I'm actually gonna remove the front hard drive and replace the 5.25" bays with a 3x hard drive bay. Then I can put a fan in the front and back.

This looks like a nice project! I don't know why Dell used so nicely made, high quality cases for cheap office prebuilds. I am looking forward to see how this turns out!
