Display changes to limited RGB after entering full screen

Alright, so I got a new monitor (sceptre c27) along with a new Radeon 5700 XT to go with it. Everything works fine aside for the fact that every time I enter a fullscreen application, game, or just shut my monitor off for a while, it changes from full to limited rgb. Is this a problem with the monitor, or is there something wrong with my drivers? I'm using displayport and tried out both Adrenalin 20.2.2 and 20.4.2, DDU'ing after both installs. I can still return the monitor, but I'm not sure if this is a problem with that, or crappy drivers everyone's been complaining about.

CPU: i5-8600k @4.7GHz

GPU: Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB

RAM: 8GB DDR4 2400MHz

SSD: 250GB Samsung 860 Evo

HDD: 1TB WD Black

PSU: Thermaltake TR2 500W Bronze
