new amd cpus should come out around august and new nvidia gpus are around the corner as well

so if you can wait then please do

save some money and get the 3600 and stick with the stock cooler and you should be fine. no ssd? in 2020? thats a first. pretty sure there are cheaper ram with higher speeds. you can get windows for cheap from 3rd party sites.

 

yet again would suggest you to wait for newer hardware.

@Beneficial_Grand I would suggest you to go with a beafy air cooler like Noctua NH D15. It performs equivalent and better in some cases and all that for a less price. Save some for the new parts!

just log into the store on your phone and get it while its free and WHEN you build a pc, play it

Get 3600MHz CL16 RAM and a R5 3600 over a 3600x if the price difference saves you money over 3200MHZ and a 3600x. With 3rd gen Ryzen there is more of performance gain from fast dual channel memory, these CPU's pretty well are at max clocks out of the box and the 3600x does not offer much more over the 3600 anyways so budget is better utilized that way. Also no need for a 240 AIO, stock cooler or a smaller tower cooler is more than enough especially with a 3600.

 

B450 is basically EOL (end of life) so go X570, unfortunately no B550 yet. 

 

But in all honesty I would wait for new Nvidia GPU's at the very least. CPU and a X570/B550 is not as bad of an investment now vs the GPU in my opinion.

He doesn't need a Noctua D15 for an R5 3600/X.

Well yes he doesn't need a D15 for 3600X, but it would be a much better investment than an AIO. Not to mention, as he said:

So, to use the 3600X to its max potential, without worrying a bit for temps, D15 is a good choice. Of course, NH-U12S would also do, I suggested keeping future upgrades in mind.
