Cannot install 64 bit os

I have been trying to install windows 7/10 64 bit os but I am unable to install 64 bit os in my PC. I have been using 32 bit os since 6 years will that affect my processor config.

My pc configuration

Core i3 2120

Ddr3 4gb 1300mhz

HDD 1tb 7000rpm 

gigabyte GA-h61m-ds2 ver4.0

Hey there. Are you trying to run a 64-bit installer on a 32-bit OS? If so, I don't that's going to work...

 

If you'd like to install Windows 10 64-bit on your 32-bit OS, you might need to do a clean installation:

Microsoft has a Download Windows 10 guide on their site, follow the instructions under "Using the tool to create installation media to install Windows 10 on a different PC." You'll need a spare 8-ish GB USB stick (a DVD works too, but it'll be awfully slow).

 

When the installer asks you "Which type of installation do you want?", select "Custom: Install Windows Only (Advanced)", not "Upgrade: Install Windows and Keep Files...".

you need to do a clean install. 

 

the hardware you have is capable of running a 64-bit OS so there are no problems there.

I have done clean install by deleting my os drive partition is it necessary to delete other partitions too?

My process stopped while getting files ready for installation it almost stopped at 80%
