This is currently my build. I know its no the fanciest build you have ever seen but im sure it will do the job. I am open to any change except for the processor because theres currently a sale going on at microcenter. I want to take advantage of the opportunity and buy it. All i am looking to do it basically play video games like battlefield 4 and league of legends. I really dont want to overclock at this time so theres no need for aftermarket cooler. I am no pc whiz so i have came here for some help. Thank you for reading! :):D

I give it a... 1!...  just kidding.  Its good though, you do need an SSD and a reasonable cooler like the others have said.  I would advise a Samsung 840 EVO as an SSD and a Noctua NH-U12/U14S or a Hyper 212 EVO as a decent CPU cooler for the buck.

Thanks for responding! I currently love in Houston, Texas . I really can't afford an ssd at the moment but would a hear sink really be necessary even if I don't want to over lock?

It's not necessary but you should be oc'ing.

Instead of G.skill sniper, i would suggest G.skill Ripjaws X bcoz of better build quality and performance and only cost a couple of bucks more...and would also recommend a good cooler and since u want a budget cooler, go for Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo...and also instead of asrock go for asus...dont compromise with mobo mate...

I think u meant after market cooler...no its not necessary if u are not OCing and have plenty of airflow in the case...but still would be helpful in keeping the temps lower and will certainly decrease the latency in some cases due to overheating of the cpu... :)

The G.Skill Sniper series is perfectly fine.

There is NO need to overclock, you get up to 4.0 boost when needed. If you overclock it sets it at that speed.

The stock cooler is fine for not overclocking, I have the same CPU and at 100% load at 4 hours it only went to 65C

I do not use the stock cooler anymore but that is because I wanted to see way lower temps. Still 65C is not bad for 125W 8 Core AMD CPU

SSD is nice to have but not needed. I have a 120GB Kingston SSD I bought for $79 I do not use it for my OS, only BF4 and Hawken

I would recommend asus M5A97 R2.0....better durability than asrock and will give better overclock also, if u want to overclock ur cpu in the future.... :P
