Go to solution Solved by Deuxez,

You are probably just hearing something called "coil whine" and its fairly normal in older PSUs and it can even be heard from some power hungry GPUs. Its totally safe. but im not 100% certain, since i cant turn on the sound on your video. Wait and see if someone else knows what it is.

Hi Everyone,

Couple days I noticed there is some buzzing noise coming from my power supply. Noise are not coming from fan because I just tested by sticking rubber tube through fan lol & noise still coming even fan was not spinning. I recorded video take a look. Also I noticed that sometimes noise increased while pc loads but I'm not 100% sure yet. I hope someone have solution for this problem :)

My Advice. Throw this cheap Garbage PSU out the Window and get something new and reliable. This is pretty much the lowest Quality possible.

Yeah, I'm actually planning to buy a graphics card & I actually picked RX 580. So for this need 8 pin power connector since I don't have this 8 pin connector on my current PSU. What budget power supply you suggests ?

Choices are a bit limited there. Any other places you can buy from near where you live that have websites?

They have the Cooler Master Masterwatt Bronze 650W for 6200 Ruppees ($80?) which is a bit over your budget. It's not listed on the website but if they have the 550W version of the Masterwatt available in store it might be a bit cheaper and within your budget.

I use amazon as a secondary website for purchasing any PC parts

https://www.amazon.in/s?k=psu&ref=nb_sb_noss_2

Yes, it's 80$ & yes it's actually little out of my budget. As you said 550W from Cooler Master is that good enough for my PC spec ?

As additional information I use 2 SSD & 3 normal HD. Is that PSU enough for this ?
