Upgrade the GPU first. The 7600k is not a bad CPU.

Sell the 1050 for as much as you can (don't expect more than like $80), and buy something better. You could get a 1060 6GB for around $150, a 1070 for around $230, a 1080 for around $300, or even a 2060 for around $300. If RTX is important to you, go with the 2060, if FPS is more important, go with the 1080

Edit: just read that you have a 60hz monitor. Go with the 1060 6GB for around $150. It will be a huge upgrade from a 1050, won't break your bank, and won't cap out your monitor unnecessarily like a 2060 would.

Alternatively, you could sell the 7600k and buy a 7700k, which would give you more threads.

Case: InWin 303 Motherboard: Asus TUF X570-Plus Processor: Ryzen R9-3900x GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ram: 32 GB DDR4 3000 MHZ

Where in god's name are 1070's selling for $140? I've seen RTX 580's go for that much, I've seen 1060 6gb's go for that much, but not 1070s.

Edit: Yea, that's BS. They are still selling anywhere from 225 to 325 on ebay.

Where have you purchased four 1070s for 100 dollars each? Did you buy them from a bitcoin miner or something?

The going price on ebay, r/hardwareswap, and craigslist is around 200-300 dollars each

7600K  should still be a viable option with some decent overclock, id upgrade the gpu since a 2gb 1050 aint that good... mby go for a used 1080? or sth https://www.newegg.com/hp-geforce-gtx-1080-909247-001/p/1FT-0014-00759?Description=gtx 1080&cm_re=gtx_1080-_-9SIADFRB098241-_-Product just an example..

the 4c/4t cpu is not the best but that gpu is much worse. upgrede it to something like rx 5600XT or rx 5700

I’m going to upgrade my monitor to a 144hz by the end of the year after I upgrade my gpu since everyone is saying to upgrade it but should I got with a 1070/1080 or rtx 2060 I just want frames at at least 1080p at high/medium settings

If you just want frames, go for a 1080. You can get one for around $300 if you are patient. There's generally a couple sold each day on reddit.com/r/hardwareswap if you're into that. I have more success on there than I do on ebay or craigslist.

The 1080 was released as a 1440p / even a 4k video card. It'll be more than enough for 144hz 1080p for awhile, especially if you mostly play esports-like titles such as valorant or fortnite.

ill keep that in mind because I’m going to wait about 3 months to see if the prices drop. If they don’t I’ll just go with a 1070 ti or 1080 I don’t really care about RTX right now

You wait for an auction to go through, and they show up pretty frequently. You just have to snipe one. And no, not used for bitcoin, and even if it was, most are undervolted and perfectly fine. AMD cards burned out faster.
