I'm really trying to make the most of my money and continue to use my 1050ti. Could you recommend a system with that? I really do appreciate your response though. Thanks!

There's no need to use a 4th gen i5.

Change over to ryzen, and grab a 3100 or a 3300x. These will be huge upgrades to whatever you had in the past. And they are only about $100. They haven't gotten to stores yet but they will be in the near future, officially released 2 days ago. The 3300x is equivalent to my 6th gen i7, the 6700k. I wholeheartedly recommend you go with this option. It will be great for gaming and light content creation with its 4 cores and 8 threads. With the savings in budget I was able to fit in a 1660 super which is leagues above a 1050ti.

If you really have your heart set on a 1050ti for whatever reason, buy one on ebay or craigslist or reddit.com/r/hardwareswap it will be cheaper that way.

Additionally, the ryzen stock cooler is pretty good. You shouldn't need an aftermarket one.

So, in conclusion, wait for the 3100 / 3300x to come into store inventory and buy one for around $100. Follow the parts list, and if you have more room in your budget feel free to change the processor over to a Ryzen 3600 or the graphics card to a 2060.

Here's the new list

Case: InWin 303 Motherboard: Asus TUF X570-Plus Processor: Ryzen R9-3900x GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ram: 32 GB DDR4 3000 MHZ

PSU: Corsair CX750M Storage: 1TB Intel 660p NVME SSD and a 2TB Seagate 7200RPM HDD Mouse: Logitech G600 Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2014 HeadphonesSteelseries Arctis 7 Audio: Shure PGA58 with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen

The Ryzen 5 2600 isn't a great value part at this time. Ryzen 5 1600AF (not the AE version!) is a better choice if you can find it at a reasonable price ($100 or under).

Alternatives: ryzen 3 3100 or 3300X

As for the motherboard, I'd avoid the cheapset B450 boards, especially those without heatsinks on the VRM-s.

How about an MSI B450 Mortar Max or Tomahawk Max?

The RAM is fine.

No problem :D

If you end up going with the cheaper option, the Ryzen 3100 build, you will have to wait until stores get them in their inventory. It just released.

Also, it might be worth waiting for B550 boards to release.

Agreed. The 3600 is a better version of the 2600. The 1600AF though, has been out of stock and unable to be had at under $100. Because of this, getting a 3100 or the 3300x is better than the 1600AF.
