AIO and fan positioning

Go to solution Solved by SolarNova,

Push/pull wont help much. its only really helpful with thick rads.

Just run 3 intake at front.

1 exhaust on rad at the back.

That will certainly give u positive pressure and reduce dust.

If u find ur case is retaining to much heat from the GPU u can always move one of the fans to the top as exhaust.

I'm running a ryzen 5 2600 stock and a 1060 6gb.
The case is a Cooler Master MasterBox K500L and the AIO is a Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite 120.

I have 4 fans in the case, two 120mm ones at the flront (with red LED), 1 in the back (2000rpm) and one the top part of the case(this one is the one that came with the IAO and only runs at 1000rpm).
I noticed my CPU heats a lot while doing heavy work it reaches 90+ºC at times.
I wnated to change the fan and AIO positoning but IDK what is the best possitioning for them.
I will leave a few photos of my case, if anyone could take a look and give a piece of advice I would much apreciate it.
P.S I know the case is filthy I'm gonna clean it tomorrow 😅
Thanks.

Tubing at the bottom idealy. stop air from being sucked up within the endtanks of the rads.

120mm AIO suck btw. Should have got a 240mm for that case, or an air cooler. either of them would cool better than a 120mm AIO.

That being said, i would stick that AIO at the back of the case where u have the rear 120mm. Set as exhaust.

Then have the 2 fans at the front as intake.

Dust ur case aswell :P   chances are ur suffering more dust than normal due to the 1in 2 out negative pressure ur running. Setup as above and ull be running positive pressure thus less dust buildup.

That leaves me with one spare fan should I put it in the front of the case? Or should I have two exausting trough the AIO? (one pulling air into the AIO the other pulling it out the case)
