E5-2630v3 Based Home Server Build?

Been looking around for old cheap Xeons. Found that the E5-2630v3 aged quite well. Can get the CPU and a Mobo for around $100, ram is quite cheap as well, not to mention this generation had DDR4 support already, and even m.2. 

 

And apparently u can hack it to turbo boost on all cores. Seems like a great deal, are there any better deals for old xeons out there?

How much computing power do you need? Do you hve. budget?

 

The v2 chips have cheper ram still. If you need more performance, id go epyc, the first gen chips are getting pretty chep.

 

What board are you looking at, its very hard to get. server board for that price.
