Is it possible to manually set to the one lower which is 2933?

I cant find XMP, DOCP, EOCP or whatever it is called in gigabyte. But in the memory settings I do see System Memory Multiplier set to auto (2667Mhz) and Memory Timing Mode set to auto (1.20V). By disabling xmp, does it mean I should set it to a certain frequency?

And thanks for the reply guys/girls. I really appreciate it.

set the system memory multiplier to 2133 and boot with the new ram (it should work). then go back to bios with the new ram and try 3200, but voltage set to 1.35v

Hi all, I am currently experiencing some trouble with the new 3200Mhz RAM i just purchased. PC wont boot after installing the new RAM, no lights on keyboard, mouse, nor monitor. But case fans and cpu fans are spinning, new RAM also has lights. PC still works with the previous RAM at 2666Mhz. Tried removing cmos batter, but issue persist. Spec as follow:

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600AF
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M-H
GPU: Sapphire Pulse RX580
PSU: 550W Bronze
New RAM: 2x8GB 3200Mhz GSkill Trident Z Royal F4-3200C16D-16GTRS, CL16-18-18-38, 1.35V
Old RAM: 8GB 2666Mhz GSkill F4-2666C19S-8GNT, CL19-19-19-43, 1.20C

I also tried installing only 1 of the new RAM to test if its a faulty RAM, both resulting in the same no lights on keyboard, mouse, nor monitor.

did you check if your motherboard allows 3200 mhz speeds?

can you go intro bios with old ram and reset to defaults (disable xmp)

I cant find XMP, DOCP, EOCP or whatever it is called in gigabyte. But in the memory settings I do see System Memory Multiplier set to auto (2667Mhz) and Memory Timing Mode set to auto (1.20V). By disabling xmp, does it mean I should set it to a certain frequency?

And thanks for the reply guys/girls. I really appreciate it.

in your bios, xmp is under MIT, advanced frequency settings.

so go in with old ram, disable it, install new ram and re-enable it.

Went to MIT, Advanced frequency settings, set system memory multiplier to 2133, boot and stuck at step one. Now old RAM doesnt work too :| Guess Im gonna have to pull the battery to reset it.

the way you reset it is by shorting the cmos pins with metal object, while the pc is unplugged. removing the battery doesn't always work.

Install the new RAM, clear the CMOS (bios reset) and boot. Let it power cycle a few times if it has to.

Shorted CMOS pins, bios reset, disabled XMP and manually set to 2667, save and exit, pc boot normally.

Trying with new ram now
Edit:Installed 1 new RAM, works at 2667Mhz 1.20V. Rebooting with 1.35V at 3200Mhz. Fingers crossed

Edit2: Works at 3200Mhz 1.35V. Installing second RAM

Edit3: All is working with both RAM installed.

Thank you so much boggy77, TeachMeGamers, wall03, 191x7 !
