BSOD on my Gigabyte RX 580 8gb

Kataang

My RX580 is acting pretty weird. I keep getting page fault in nonpaged area or driver irql not less or equal. And also, when i play games such as CSGO, sometimes my monitor turns off and after 2 seconds it turns on. I have never overclocked my gpu, everything is on default and i have tried reinstalling drivers and i even reinstalled windows. Can someone please tell me how to fix this issue, or if it is an issue with the graphics card or something else is malfunctioning in my system. I even changed my CPU cooler and power supply and then i realised it was a graphics card problem. The card is less than 2 years old and i have never done overclocking on it and i only play esports titles on my pc.

I also forgot to mention that i have a 144hz monitor, but that cannot be the problem because the RX 580 can handle 144hz well

Welcome to the forums!

Have you tried using Display Driver Uninstaller from https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html? Also, make sure that you're getting your graphics driver from https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-500-series/radeon-rx-500-series/radeon-rx-580.

well when i installed windows again i also removed all the data from all of my hard drives including the ssd so i pretty much removed all of the old drivers and installed them again from the official amd website and it automatically detected my gpu and installed the proper drivers so i don't think that it is a driver problem.

Windows automatically installs Radeon drivers which may be causing an issue, that's why I ask.

If you're certain it's not a driver fault, try running a memory check. You can do so by pressing WIN+R together to open Run and entering mdsched.exe.

System memory, this is to make sure that there isn't another component at fault.

Not necessarily. Give mdsched a try, let me know if it displays and errors.

Do you have any antivirus installed on your machine? If you do, try uninstalling it.

Otherwise, we're back to a driver problem. Try running Driver Verifier by opening Run and entering %WinDir%\system32\Verifier.exe, selecting "Create standard settings" and "Automatically select all drivers installed on this computer".
