I'm fairly new to PC building and am struggling to get windows to boot from the M.2 on the Motherboard.

Ive built a pc from older parts for cheap and done plenty of work on laptops but never really used a motherboard with a uefi!

I'm trying to build a client type PC using the original Playstation as the case for my Sony fan partner but the projects ground to a halt.

From what I can see the OS loads from the usb to the sdd fine but then refuses to boot from the ssd and I end up back at the start of loading from the usb.

I've tryed turning secure boot off and after that I'm lost at what to do and no amount of youtube has helped me!

Its a Asus h110t mobo and a Sandisk x110 series M.2

Can anyone help me so I can continue with this project?

I remember having this problem before, do you have any other drives connected? And is the drive detected in BIOS? Secure boot shouldn't really matter in this case.

look for Compatibility mode, in under the boot or HD settings, i literally had to remember this today after installing a new bios, i am on ASUS motherboard aswell.

sorry update, correct wording
Compatibility support module, should be able to search for it in the UEFI bios rather than go hunting through all the options
