Arris SBG8300 problems

I dont know if anyone else has had or is having a problem, but my internet keeps going out on it, only for the internet light to blink blue slowly. Could there ve a reason for this

There could.  There’s a lot of information missing though.  Internet connectivity is a chain and it could be anywhere in there chain.

 

Starting with the device and working backward:

-what device and what does it use to connect?

-what system does it connect to and what system does that system connect to and how? (This one repeats until the ISP is reached)

-what ISP connection type, what ISP in what area?
