Xperia 10 II ?

Xperia 10 II is coming out soon and it features a snapdragon 665. How can a device nowadays be released with such a CPU while still costing ~300-400 euros?

Just for reference that the older samsungs/iphones or even a oneplus 1 or 2 (from 2014-2015) have better performing CPU's while costing less (at that time).

 

I've been looking around for new phones to buy and I have never owned a sony phone before, but I also don't see how their pricing/hardware is appealing to anyone as it just doesn't seem to be able to compete with any of the phones, heck it doesn't even compete to my oneplus 2 from 2015 that costed 250ish at the time.

 

Perhaps someone could enlighten me what makes Sony so special that they're able to push phones like this?

That's kind of wrong. the 665 will outperform a oneplus 2, easily, and Sony pushes their whole "pro camera" idea. Otherwise, Europe/Canada both have really shitty deals on basically any tech, but even despite this, Sony does overcharge.

Just state your budget, area, and what you looking for in a phone.

I'm probably leaning towards the Poco F2 pro (k30 pro) from Xiaomi, as it's priced around 400-500 that fits my budget.

Xiaomi however has privacy concerns as they record data from their own software apps that are re-traceable.

and I believe their OS skin (MUI) is pretty bloated (correct me if i'm wrong).

 

Are Xiaomi phones easily unlocked, so you can remove bloatware? Perhaps you know. I'm really unfamiliar with their OS.

If I can remove their bloatware, this phone seems to be perfect.

 

The reason I'm looking forward to the Poco F2 Pro (in Europe) is that it doesn't come with a punchhole and I like their design.
