Hello guys, I need some help choosing 2 sticks of ram 16x2 (32gb), I was going with the team group brand since they are getting better and better (or some other one equally good). I just need some help figuring out what speed and if 3000 or 3200 ram because i really dont understand much about it. If you're wondering why im choosing 32gb of ram its because games are starting to need more and more ram, and some years ago 8gb was enough but nowadays 16gb are starting to feel like the 8gb of ram from a years ago, and since Im making this build to last +5 years and I want to invest right away on everything and dont need to concern about anything else for a few years.

The other question is about my PSU, is it enough ? will it do the job? im not going to upgrade anything else for along time and by the time that I need I prob have to buy a new pc.

This is the build:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Motherboard -MSI X479 Gaming Plus

RAM - ???

GPU-  MSI RTX 2060 SUPER Gaming X 8GB GD6

HDD - Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm 256MB SATA III

SSD - Crucial MX500 1TB M.2 3D

PSU - Semi Modular Corsair TX 650M 80+ Gold

Thanks !!!

edit: The max price im looking to spend is 200 euros, and another thing,Im from Portugal and Im going to buy the computer at this store https://www.globaldata.pt/ so if you could please see the rams there or just tell me wich ram and i'll search it, thanks again!)

3200 MHZ no question with Ryzen. If you can afford it I would go for 3600 thats the sweet spot or ram speed for Ryzen

I agree with @WambleCropped in that 3200Mhz ram CL16 is what you should be aiming to get.  Many different brands will work - Corsair, G.Skill, etc...

If you can stretch the budget then definitely pick up 3600Mhz ram CL16.

The PSU at 650W is plenty to power the system.  You could get away with using a 550W PSU as well.

You suggested looking at the store https://www.globaldata.pt/.   It has a decent enough filter so you can filter by Kit, 3200MHZ or 3600MHZ  and (2x16) 32GB.

Then just pick the one from the list you like.  The site only provides 4 types - G.Skill, Crucial, Team Group, HyperX

u wont need 32gb ram in anytime in future, u might have to upgrade a gpu before u need to upgrade from 16gb to 32 gb, but if u wanna go for it, minimum 3200mhz speed, also 2x8gb (16)gb ram sticks can have much faster speeds and lower timings

I understand but Im watching most of the games consuming 12GB  of ram at ultra and that's close to 16Gb so since I can affoard it i'll buy the 32 already.

About the 2x8gb having more faster speeds and lower timings, is it like a huge difference??

Thanks!

Forgot to mention that you should add CAS Latency of 16 (or lower) to the filter.   The lower the CAS latency the better.  It will be all about how much money you want to spend.

well if u can spare money, then go for 32gb, but find fast kit with low timings, 3600mhz is optimal

I believe these are the same memory on Amazon -. https://www.amazon.com/TEAMGROUP-T-Force-3200MHz-PC4-25600-TF3D416G3200HC16CDC01/dp/B07WTW5CJ5.  I usually reference memory kits between Amazon/NewEgg and other sellers to read reviews on compatibility/manufacturing defects/support issues/etc...

If I did find the matching pair (sorry but I only speak English) then the reviews are quite positive in nature and should be a good kit.   I do not have personal experience with Team Group memory  but I have not heard anything negative about them.
