Wow. I’ve been seeing the 3600 for $175, and I heard about the 1600af going for $89.  Prices are shooting up.  Of those 3 the 2600 is the least poorly priced.  The 2600 is a slow 3600, and the 1600af is a slow 2600.  Kind of wondering what the 2700 costs at that point.  They used to be cheaper where I am than you are apparently seeing 2600s for.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

A 2700 is a 2600 with 2 extra cores.  Not often faster for gaming than a 2600 currently, but more flexible.

For £5 I personally would take a 2700 over a 2600 in a hot second, assuming I had enough computer to power it.  It won’t run games any faster but it will run more programs at once, and could potentially have a longer useful lifespan.
