Hi folks. After some advice. Built my pc 3 weeks ago with no major issues other than a single black screen in windows. This week I noticed a problem when I opened I-CUE and noticed a white border running down the side of the window. A little annoying to say the least. Today I noticed that this white/brown border is present in my games. (see attached photos) No problems within Windows, Edge or Chrome. Latest drivers updated and no other issues. Any ideas?

Could try a different cable or monitor maybe.

Possibly try running linux off a USB and installing some game under steam and see if windows is the issue.

maybe reseat the GPU and reinstall windows otherwise. Should keep it on a small partition, with the rest of your stuff on a separate one for easy installs.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I had issues like that before I got rid of the Icue software, for some reason I had nothing but trouble running the corsair software for lighting control.
