((Having read the sticky...))

I have big hands (11cm wide x 18cm long). (With my fingers spread the width goes to 19cm.)

Currently use a G502 while it's fine for length it's too narrow.

I hold the mouse in a claw/fingertip grip.

I mostly play ARPGs (PoE & D3 atm) and things like Minecraft (nothing competitive or where I need amazing reactions).

Only needs a normal complement of buttons (L/R/M/Forward/Backward/Scroll). More would be nice but can manage without (I don't use all the buttons I have now).

Prefer wired (mostly as they tend to be cheaper than wireless).

Prefer a good brand that have good software and/or support.

Money is an object but I'd rather pay for something that is good and comfortable now than pay little now and more later.

I'm right handed and prefer something semi-ergonomic. Thumb and/or pinky wrests would be nice.

I don't want RGB unless I can turn it off.

I have looked at several over the last few weeks and tried a track ball (the one I tried wasn't a good fit and while I'm not against trying another I'd prefer to stick with a mouse).

I've looked at the Razer Basalisk but it's not terribly clear from the pictures I've seen how well it works for those of us with wide hands. Would anyone with wide hands be able to answer that question or conversely suggest an alternative?

The basalisk and the new ones especially are basically g502's. I have 21 cm wide hands and the mamba elite does fine.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.
