So I've got a wireless headset had one for years but recently bought into the wired stereo headsets for their quality. Now im unsure if there is a device like i've seen with some display switch devices that switch outputs of monitors to one computer to another but for audio.

In other words i'd like to be able to swap from wireless/wired very quickly without having to change default devices if that's possible without a pcie card if it is what do i need to buy?

Audio devices being used

Wireless Headset
Microphone for stereo headset
Stereo Headset
Stereo Headphone Amplifier

If both devices are connected to your computer at all time, then you can use something like Audioswit.ch: https://www.audioswit.ch/er.

That way you can set up a hotkey for each device and switch between with the press of a button.

I 've been using it with Windows 10 for years without any major issues.

The only issue I've had is that the hotkey sometimes get reset by a Windows update.

The other, inbuilt option is using the Windows + G hotkey, brings up an overlay where you can quickly and easily change audio device.
Personally, before I hot my interface I had a very similar issue to you and used a very similar program but issues with updates really made it suck. I wish the Win + G hotkey was a thing back then because ti would have saved me a tonne of time.
