Hi guys, i have a f4-2400c15s-8gis, G.skill Aegis DDR4 DDR4-2400MHz CL15-15-15-35 1.20V 8GB (1x8GB) on my gaming rig at the moment.

I wanted to upgrade to 2x8gb with the same ram. I'm on a budget and i saw someone selling a used f4-2400c17s-8gis, Aegis DDR4 DDR4-2400MHz CL17-17-17-39 1.20V 8GB (1x8GB).

Will i run into any problem paring them together on my gaming rig?

My Specs:

i5-8400

Gigabyte D360m d2v

G.skill Aegis DDR4 8gb 2400mhz

Zotac 1060 6gb

It usually should, but there's no guarantee. Just keep in mind that both sticks will be running at the same frequency and timings (i.e. lowest common frequency and highest common latency).
