Hey guys so I can't decide wich gpu should I pick, Im going to play assassins creed origins and odyssey, cod mw, cs go, lol, gtav. All of them at 1080p, 144hz, and ofc I like the better graphics but its not a thing that for example, if they are medium/high or high/ultra, that doesnt bother me, as long as they seem pretty or decent enough its all good. So my question is wich gpu should I get based on this, and wich will be more "future proof"? And im not thinking on playing at 4k.

Asus GeForce® GTX 1660 SUPER TUF Gaming X3 OC 6GB

or

MSI GeForce® RTX 2060 SUPER GAMING X 8G GD6

When I say bullet proof I mean is it worth it the extra 160 euros for the 2060 or by the time that I have to upgrade the 1660 the 2060 will prob have to be upgraded aswell?

And is the extra 160 euros worth it or the 1660 will get the job done?

Btw this is the build:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Motherboard -MSI X479 Gaming Plus

RAM - Team Group Kit 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000MHz Night Hawk Black RGB CL16

GPU-  ???

HDD - Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm 256MB SATA III

SSD - Crucial MX500 1TB M.2 3D

PSU - Semi Modular Corsair TX 650M 80+ Gold

Thanks!!!

What country?

and what's your CPU?

The RX 5700 has the same performance as the 2060 super/2070 for less in germany looks like

This one's a bit more expensive but has one of the better coolers compared to the cheapest models.

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 with a 1660 super and I'm very pleased with it. I get 200 fps in Rainbow 6 and around 120 in Just Cause 3, CS GO gets like 300 (I'm not sure of the exact number because I don't play CS GO much.) You could go with 2060 and I'm sure it'd work better if you use like 4k and stuff but overall I love my 1660 super

Portugal, the cpu is a Ryzen 5 3600, here the RX 5700 is like 20 euros cheaper than a rtx 2060 super.

The problem with that rtx 5700 powercolor its that is sold out in the stores :/

Thanks!

yea in cs go i play all low settings because i prefer having performance so yea, sometimes i put it to max but meh.

Yea thats the thing im not going to use 4k so prob 1660 will do the job at 1080p 144hz.

Thanks!

Oh thats true, ive never used a amd graphic so im kinda afraid ahah

Aside from ray tracing there's generally more features for AMD's hardware like GPU chill to keep power/noise down in single player games, or image sharpening to cheat out more fps.

Best to reinstall windows with any major hardware changes in any event.
