CPU Upgrade

Hello i need help please. I did an upgrade to my CPU from a pentium 2020m to an i5-3230m in my asus laptop. I now have the issue of it shutting down after about 30 minutes of usage and its not even going above 68°C, so its not overheating or abnormally shutting down because it literally boots right back up with no issues what so ever.

....?... so is it a normally shutting down or abnormally shutting down?  I’m confused.

is the cpu used or new? what model asus laptop is it? what does your windows log say? did you make sure that cpu is 100% compatible with the laptop? just because the cpu fits doesn't guarantee it will work well with it, or at all.
