What can I do with an old laptop's RAM?

Go to solution Solved by MartinKweh,

i made mine in to a keychain. its those old LPDDR3 with small hole. Dont worry its broken anyways.

though you can sell the parts of your laptop for easy money if you need it.

I have a Samsung Laptop sitting around, the HDD died so I never touched it again. Today I decided to open it up and took off the RAM, can I do something with it? (I have a ROG laptop, pretty sure I can't just stick it in there though).

I am making a new rig for gaming, some extra money would help me a ton (750€)

What could I possibly sell from this old laptop?

if that laptop is completely broken, sell it part by part. if not, check if its still working. if it is, sell the whole thing and say that the hard drive is broken.

otherwise, the parts you can sell are

Screen(remove it carefully from the body of the laptop)

Ram

CPU(if not soldered)
GPU(if it is one of those MXM cards)

the camera module
