I am looking for a upgrade to my Corsair CX450. After looking at my low budget and high expectations lol I made up my mind to get the Antec EAG Pro Gold 550w.

https://antec.com/product/power/eag-pro550.php

Now my current system specs are in signature.

What I want to do is upgrade the cpu, gpu and mobo and want to know if 550w should be a bit future proof or not?

New build will have a 3700x, a rtx 2060 super and a new b550 mobo. Rest will be same as before.

P.S: I think its based on the Seasonic Focus Gold platform (not focus plus gold).

CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X Undervolted  Motherboard: B550 Aorus Elite V2 Rev1.2 RAM: G.Skill TridentZ Neo 3600Mhz CL16 32gb

GPU: MSI Mech 2X RX6600 8GB Cooler: ProLab Design AI360 LC AIO Storage: WD SN770 500gb + Sn550 1Tb + MX500 1Tb + 1TB HDD

PSU: Antec EAG Pro 750 80+G Case: Deepcool CG580 WH Monitor: Benq Mobiuz EX2510 144Hz

Mouse: G Pro Wireless Keyboard: Corsair K68 RGB Cherry MX Red Speakers: Creative Pebble V2

Eh. Might not fare so well. Currently a 550W unit should work but several years down the line youll probably have to upgrade it.

Unless your PSU is broken I'd wait for PSU prices to drop, because they're like 30+% inflated right now

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

And Corsair CX450 is still good for that, total power draw would be just about 400-450W at 100% load. No need for PSU swap.

By that I mean 'if you want to upgrade components' you also need to upgrade the PSU a few year down the line. Sorry, I wasn't specific enough
