hello im looking at getting a eGPU, i was planning on building a new pc but due to financial problems i wont have much money to spend. That being said i already have a "gaming" laptop from a few years ago, i have a Asus Rog GL552vw, this model is extremly hard to find online for some reason as i noticed while looking for drivers, it has a Core i7-6700HQ 2.6 ghz 2592 Mhz 4 core CPU, NVIDIA  GeForce GTX 960m GPU, 16gb Ram, 125gb SSD, 1TB HDD. IO includes 1x usb C (or thunderbolt i cant tell) HDMI out, 3x usb a (2x should be 2.0 and one should be 3.0 but there is no physical difference so im not sure) i already use an extra monitor as my main with extra mouse and keyboard, i use a usb hub from anker that is usb 3.0 and should be connected to the usb 3.0 hub on my laptop, i use a Corsair M800C rgb mouse pad along with the Corsair Dark Core SE wirless mouse.

I was watching youtube the other day and noticed one of the LTT eGPU videos and was wondering weather an eGPU would be a good idea with my laptop to poost graphical performance. I play games such as War Thunder, World of warships, rainbow six, Euro Truck sim 2 and Elite Dangerous and other games similar. i dont know whether this is the right thread or not but since its GPU related i geuss we will see. sorry for not the most specific specs, as i said the documentation and such online is hard to find (from my experience) and i have no idea how i got this laptop. I tried replacing the Thermal past on the GPU and CPU but found one of the screws to already be stripped so i was unable to replace it.

Thanks in advance!
