Water damage to PC

Go to solution Solved by harryk,

Kitchen sink, dish soap, and a toothbrush. You can also run it through the dishwasher for a deeper clean. Allow sufficient time, like several days, to dry and you should be good to go.

if you haven't already, remove the CMOS battery before cleaning.

So my mom came into my bedroom to list PC's on eBay with my nephew (not even 1 yet) I was working on a PC and I heard the baby spit up milk all over the PC's motherboard (that had no power) and I seen that it got deep into the pcie port and over some other stuff, we cleaned it as fast as we could and tip it over to let the milk get out. So if anyone would know how long should I leave it there or should I trash it.

if it had no power you're fine. Hell, you can run it through a dishwasher cycle if you really wanted to clean it up.
