Cpu prblems

soooo i buy this new cpu today i7-8700

and i build the pc and i was looking that everthing works find less than my cpu 

it got to 90* celcius!!!!! i check my cooler and motherboard cooler: masterliquid 240 motherboard: asus b360-h gaming and all my other devices has a normal temperature 

plssss any help for this?

Then something else is wrong, or the paste got applied badly twice.  90c is within spec for modern chips but only barely.  It will throttle and even shut down before it burns itself up though so you likely won’t hurt the thing.  CPUs didn’t used to do that.

Yes I re apply the termal paste and it gets better, but the it’s start to getting hot slowly, I’m thinking more on my cooler, is a water cooler that i have been using for almost two years

As in AIO?  Warranty should be longer or close.  Good date to know.  Slow (months, years) heat increase can be dust buildupZ
