mother board question

MSI B450M MORTAR MAX Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard       or        ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming ATX Motherboard 

 

( keep in mind I need a mother board with a digital aux port )

I quite like the ASUS B450 I'm using a TUF B450M and it's fantastic.

what cpu? out of the two, definitely the mortar max.

the asus board is bad. it has terrible VRM's

the mortar max is the best b450 matx motherboard, if not the best b450 overall.

The Mortar Max has better VRMs, it should be fine with up to a stock 3900X, but with the B450-F I wouldn't put anything more than a 3700X in it.
