I can't update my Windows 10

Hello LTT Fans o/

 

i have a problem, of which i cant update my Windows 10 from 1809 to 1909.

I get a "Cant Install on a USB Stick" error, even tho my system is on a Corsair MP500 240GB M.2 NVMe SSD

I am doing it, because the file called msvcp140.dll went missing in the system32 folder and when i try to install it back with the command "regsvr32 msvcp140.dll", i get following error (see image attached)

 

Please help me, because of this error, i cant play gta v, r6, not even photoshop.

What are the exact steps you're taking to update your Windows?

I am using the Windows 10 Update Assistant, that microsoft provides. I let it download the Windows 10 Update files, and after a while when i come back, it just says "Cant Install on a USB Stick"

What happens when you let Windows Update in the Settings app download updates?

Windows Updates in the Settings App are getting installed. But what i need, is update Windows itself

For me, the Windows Update thing in the settings always updates Windows too.

Yeah probably, because "PortableOperatingSystem" was set to 1
