I am Juan, I am from Mexico. ;)

I am looking to save up to around US$1,500 to build a PC from zero, following up on linus' building videos and stuff got me super hyped on doing it because he makes it look so simple and easy. But anyway. I want a super powerful. I'll follow Windspeed36's Build Plan Thread layout:

Budget: as stated, around US$1,500

Aim: be abe to run at decen FPS games like Far Cry 3, Crysis 2 and other high demanding games available, while mantaining space for upgradeability in the future (like I find another US$500 around the floor...). Would love to build it around Ryzen processor and a RTX 2070 or 2060 (depending on your experience on price to performance ratio and also the budget).

Monitors: I just upgraded my TV to 4K Samsung so I would be probably gaming on that before I plan to shed more dollars on a HDR monitor or something like that. I know its not what I sould do as I think it does not support 144 mhz but... Oh well...

Peripherials: Yes, I need recommendations on a nice keyboard and mice. That can be outside of the US$1,500. That would be only for the PC and nothing else... Or thats the plan... I was just looking at some razr stuff but I have no experience on that. My keyboards and mice have all been included in the PC...

Why am I upgrading? I have a very nice HP Envy 17 with GeForce graphics but its from 2013. I just can't play Far Cry 3 nad stuff like that. Love it but it is just not enough in terms of processor and GPU (my unliterate tech self thinks so).

Forgot to add: would be thinking on Windows 10 Pro or something like that.

Thank you all.

Just ask when you're ready to build, pricing and parts availability change too much to ask now and then build sometime in the future.

The G.Skill KM780 is probably the best keyboard I've used to date.

do you/will you have the funds within a month from now? If not, you should definitely return with a new thread when the time is right.

If you do have the money to build soon, here is a list:

And here is a list in Pesos:

Though the shipping may be a bit off since I'm in the states.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

That would be a good build for 1500$ USD.

Thank you ll for your answers. I understand what dizmo and Fasauceome are saying. I am planning on doing it in no less than 3 months. I started this because I am getting very ahead of time (as I always do) and understand prices will change a lot. But anything you can hit me up in the mean time will give me a good sense on what is a good build. Thank you Viper9 for the recommendation and Fasauceome for giving it in pesos :)
