So, I have a I7 7700k with an Rtx 2070 Super and 32GB of ram. and ever since i placed my pc into my new case (this is also when i installed my GPU) my cpu usage likes to spike while starting certain games, but is just fine after i've booted into the game. While moving my system into a new case i never took the cpu out and treated it carefully, soo im guessing its not a bend pin. I don't have anything overclocked (i do however have my ram slightly underclocked due to my motherboard not supporting higher, planning on fixing that when i want to buy a new cpu.) So does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? because i can't figure it out. (sorry if my english was incorrect in some places)

My rigs do that. Even joining an actual lobby with my 4770k will freeze up.
Could a 64 core cpu and see if it doesn’t do it.

Check the drive connections. Could be a bad SATA connection and it's irritating the controller, and on high I/O requests the CPU freaks out and locks. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry TOO much, I'd just go remove some startup items in Windows and run a small set of open programs when gaming. It'll probably make a difference.
