So I tried installing several web hosting panels like Ajenti, Webmin, Yunohost, but ran into trouble setting it up for Wordpress and having weird issues with dependancies. I have used cPanel in the past but i need a free web hosting panel for this project and I was wondering if anybody has any tips for something to match the cPanel experience.

What do you mean problems setting it up for wordpress? Wordpress have nothing to do with the hosting planels.. However ISPConfig is a quite populare control panel.

Sorry i meant all those panels i had to setup apache nginx or phpmyadmin and they were always saying i was missing dependancies or not all the plugins were working correctly. I will try ISPConfig and maybe have better luck.

Yeah, most these panels need web server apache2, nginx, mysql and php with other libaries. phpmyadmin is just a way to administrate the database.

You need to be more specific, if you're missing dependancies it should tell you what you're missing. Then in most cases its a case of 'apt-get install' the missing packages.

In some cases you may find you have old versions of packages, in which case you may need to find other PPA's/3rd Party Repo's or install from .deb or source.
