I’m looking into cinematography with my iPhone Pro Max. The Beastcage setup looks absolutely fabulous, but I want to be able to use my iPhone with a Røde SC6-L Mobile interface connect over Lightning made for iPhone while being able to keep my iPhone charged with a battery bank. Is there a lighting -> dual lighting splitter that would support this? If not this way, is there another option?

BeastGrip is the site I’m going to gather most of my Cinema and photography gear from.

Why don’t you just get a real camera? What are you actually looking to use this for? The grips are like $300 for god knows what reason you can get a solid camera used or refurbished for that.

If you don't want to spend a ton on a high-end camera, you already have accessories you want to use or you like the particulars of what your phone can do, this can make sense.

Can we please stop this habit (in general, not just you) of people explicitly asking for recommendations for X but getting told to buy Y?  If someone really wants to produce videos with their phone, let's help them produce videos with their phone.

It’s called asking why they want something and offering an alternative. For example if someone says they want a PC to do CAD for example and have a 8700K new and a RTX 2070. Probably not the best for the money. Better off with a 3700X and a low end Quadro.

£300 for a phone grip seems a tad excessive and the lenses they have aren’t like real lenses which people think they’re as good as.

There's a difference between correcting someone and simply trying to force your personal tastes on someone else, which is what you're trying to do here.

The OP is clearly technically savvy; they know what they're doing, and they intend to record video on their phone.  If you can't actually be helpful, you don't have to participate in this thread.

I appreciate everyone’s input! As far as me not purchasing a “Digital” camera, is I already own SLR Cameras and with the beast cage I can adapt my slr glass to the cage with their DOF Adapter. And it doesn’t hurt that I’ll only have one device on me at all times vs 2 separate devices for what I need. What I can’t use my SLRs for I’ll use my iPhone for convenience. And I’ll be honest, it’s really hard to tell the difference between which one takes better photos because I have to convert the film to digital and it loses a small amount of quality with the conversion. The iPhone would give me RAW files to edit and have more precise control with photoshop.
