Im planning on upgrading my rig with a GPU capable enough to get 144fps on my games (Rocket League, League of Legends, etc)

but most importantly Modern Warfare @ at least 60~fps 1440p. (I dont mind playing between medium to ultra settings for reaching that frame/res goal, nor dropping to 1080p 144fps because my monitor is 1080p anyways)

I found 2 offers for used cards

a $214 GTX 980 and a $250 GTX 1060 6GB

tips on what to choose and why?

thanks beforehand

If that's USD, you could get a new RX 580 for less.

What are your other components (CPU, RAM, PSU)?

The 980 is slightly faster, and should return 144fps with a fast enough CPU and low enough settings. Though $214 isn't a great price, if you're in a country with high prices you can get used cards (mostly AMD) off Aliexpress.
