AMD freesync with Nvidia card?

Can i activate freesync w my nvidia card? if so how do i do it?

turn freesync on the monitor then go in nvida control panel and the gsnyc option should come up :)

As Escapenz said, make sure to to tick "Enable settings for the selected display model". If the monitor is on Nvidia compatible list, should not have any issues, if not, it might blanking out etc.

You also have to be using DisplayPort.  It won't work over HDMI, and that includes adapters.

actually ive read that it  does work over hdmi

New G-Sync monitors (not "G-Sync Compatible" or FreeSync monitors) are supposed to, but as far as I know, VRR doesn't work over HDMI right now unless you use DisplayPort.

well i also have my eye on a display that doesnt have  displayport but it has freesync
