Im currently running a system running these parts

AMD Ryzen 2200G

Gigabyte GTX 1060 3Gb

MSI A320M PRO-VH PLUS 

8Gb 2400Mhz HyperX Fury

Im getting a new set of 3200 mhz 16gb ram and in my motherboard specs it says that yo use 3200mhz ram i need to oc

and im not really sure how to do this and some help would be appreciated, also ive been wanting to overclock my cpu so what would be a good motherboard with a reasonable cost. any help would be helpful

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

All DDR4 RAM runs at 2133MHz at stock, on most AM4 motherboards 2666MHz is considered overclocking so mileage can vary, that's why they explicitly state that you are overclocking your memory. Even with a kit rated at 3200Mhz it is not always achievable.

 

But enabling DOCP (XMP) mode within your Bios basically auto OC's your memory to it's rated speed, if you get a blue screen crash with memory codes you know it's because of your memory OC and you will need to manually clock it (not hard).
