They list all of their supported CPU's: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/H110M-R/HelpDesk_CPU/

 

Even if that list is incomplete (I doubt it is), there would be a firmware update that added support for different CPUs if they added support after the initial release.  There doesn't appear to be, so I would not expect it to support your CPU.

So i was planning on buying a new CPU for my computer and i was wondering something. If i have this motherboard ,,Asus H110M-R"  (https://www.asus.com/supportonly/H110M-R/HelpDesk_Download/) <-- link to the motherboard , can i use cpu ,,Intel i5 9400F"(https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/190883/intel-core-i5-9400f-processor-9m-cache-up-to-4-10-ghz.html) <---- link to the cpu. It has the same socket but i read out somewhere that it cant support it because motherboard can only support generation 6 and 7. Can someone please help me out about this...please... And if cant support it can someone please recommend me a cpu for it to work with a price of 200$ or less.
