My computer keeps crashing and the dump file tells me the memories causing it. I have two sticks of DDR4 3200 from TridentZ and another two sticks of DDR4 3000 from TridentZ. Is this RAM not compatible? My motherboard is a ROG strix z370-h gaming and I have Intel's i7 8700k.

DDR4 can be fairly picky, unless both kits are completely identical(even then) it may not work correctly. The best way to buy memory is in a kit from the manufacturer of exactly the amount and speed you need. Mix matching kits in most cases can cause an issue. Test both kits separately, if they work fine apart but crash and blue screen together it means they are incompatible. I'd say buy the ram you want in a 4 module kit and sell the two separate kits after you get it.

P.S. Welcome to the forums!

Yup mixing ram can cause stability issues, but 98% of people will say it's fine. but the fact you mixed 2 totally different kits.

you can get away with 2 same model kits, but I vote against.

How much ram are talking about? cause 16GB is plenty for just about anything

Another thing you could try is resetting CMOS, or reset the memory to set the kits to default,

Don't run any XMP profiles either. just run stock and see if it stables out.

Just make sure they have the same timings and same speed because your cpu' memory controller chooses the lowest speeds and runs on that for all the sticks
