if i were to build a computer for 600 to 650 dollars, would this work?

i already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, os, etc. i'd just need the computer itself

i'd be playing games in 1080p, at the most like, medium settings gta v. maybe also recording/streaming in 900p/1080p

Ryzen 5 1600 AF review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRO_AUdmfis

Overclockable to 4.2ghz at 1.4V is good enough RNG.

Between i5 8400 and Ryzen 7 2700x in gaming.

Between i7 7700k and i7 8700k in workloads.

(rough results)

The motherboard review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2GC9KE1xd8

Supports first, second and third gen Ryzen out of the box.

Using and overclocking 4-6 core CPU's are decent but overclocking 8 core CPU’s not recommended and using over 8 core CPU's not recommended due to poor VRM’s.

Okay(ish) WIFI, audio, m.2 support

Decent price for 16gigs 3000mhz ram. Okayish timings.

Page Break

Good price. Decent performance.

Msi rx 580 8gb GT

Between 1060 and 1070 in gaming.

8 gb vram for the future or higher resolutions

No rgb, but still decent look.

good airflow

Remember that the ryzen 5 1600 af is Zen+ not Zen2. meaning that you can get 3000-3200mhz ram stable but not really higher than that.

the cpu is out of stock but it will come back to stock sooner or later.
