Mouse and keyboard Disconnecting.

Try to keep this short. Mouse and keyboard will stop working, then I will hear the windows sound of unplugging a usb device, lights will turn off on the peripherals, 3 to 5 seconds, windows sound of plugging them back in, lights will come back on, and operation returns to normal.Also at some times only one of the devices will go out, it is not always in tandem. Will happen in games, also will happen even at idle/web browsing. Does not happen all the time, some days doesn't happen at all other days happens often and sporadic. I have went as far as to do into device manager and set all usb devices and hubs to never cut power/enter sleep mode. Only keyboard and mouse will drop, other usb devices remain usable.

Keyboard : Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2016 - wired

Mouse : Razer Basilisk - wired

I will say it is dumb but both razer products operate on different programs, because the keyboard is older it runs on Razer synapse, the mouse on Razer Central.

Just wanting to see if anyone has the same with their Razer products and this is a software issue, or should i update my Bios if it is a usb issue.

I can't help, but I've got a computer doing the same type of thing. Corsair k68 keyboard and Corsair Sabre mouse. Sometimes on boot up, one or both will not work, lights aren't on ETC. Unplug and windows makes the noise notification of unplugging a device, same when you plug them back in. The lights come on and it's all normal. Never happens again. I'd say it's about 50% of the time that at least one of them does it. I thought it was compatability with the old motherboard (B85-G41) but it's doing the same with a new x570 Aorus Elite that just got installed.

My wife's best friend got the same keyboard for Xmas, same time as my wife, and hers does the exact same thing.
