Enough to effect my game play. I don’t enjoy stutter from a cpu being maxed out ruining the game.

Yea think my CPU is getting that way, has held up well over the past few years but time for a change, was thinking the i9 9900k when I make the leap

Budget for cooler? I could probably spend around £150 on it if ill be able to use it again, My current case is NZXT Phantom Full Tower Enthusiast PC Case, Which ill be hoping to keep using with future builds.

These options are all AM4 compatible for a future Ryzen upgrade.

Good 240mm AIO options:

So i could use that with future builds also?

OF course - it's compatible with AM4 so you can easily upgrade to say a 4950X 16-core Zen3 CPU and use your existing cooler. Or you can get a mounting bracket for AM5/LGA1200 in the future

For the love of God people, a 4790K is still a perfectly capable CPU. If you're going to upgrade up your GPU first and then you can get a 3600 later if you really need to. It might hold a 2080 Super back a little bit but don't worry about it, you'll see a huge upgrade anyway.

See, thats what ive been reasing as well, That it can still hold up well without being oc. So you think it will work good with the 2080 super?

Good is subjective.

With that train of thought, anything will work. Best to just try it and find out first hand. Youre getting the card regardless right?
