Hello everyone i have a question? I have a core i7 930 Bloomfield running at 133mhz with 112GB of ram running at 1600mhz, will overclocking the CPU increase FPS in games. I also have 2x radeon 5750 in crossfire running at 700mhz core and 1150mhz memory . Would love to hear from you guys.

But without joking around.

It can give you a slightly FPS boost but nothing very well noticeable.

You might be better of OC'ing your GPU's instead.

and people say 16GB of ram is overkill......gee wiz.

not really frames are created in the GPU, so I cant see why OCing a cpu would make lots of difference, it wont hurt to do it still ~:S

Are YOU high? Off course Overclocking a CPU can make a difference. Check out this benchmark of the Witcher 2. Same CPU but only different clock speeds. Notice the difference in fps?

not neccerily, yes of Couse it will make a small difference, but its not gonna be a an insane amount of better, different games will react differently.
