I appreciate anyone who can answer my question. I'm looking to get and SSD for my laptop but they're expensive so I'm going to go with a 128gb, but I have more thins than that. So I was wondering, can I have my OS on the SSD to and my apps and files on my current HDD? I found a software that moves the OS to new storage drives and you have two options: 1: move just OS. 2:move everything, I want to do 2 but I just need someone good in tech to give me an approval and answer my question. Thanks :) :) :) :) Please help

Please help

You can certainly install (fresh) your OS to your new SSD, but you will likely have to re-install most of your applications, they may not run with the OS now taking over drive C and your existing HDD now being drive D

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.
